If chickens are your passion and you are particularly interested in Pekin bantams, then you have come to the right place! We have been keeping chickens for many years now, but our favourute is the Pekin bantam not only are they beautiful to look at, they are easily handled, great with children, don't cause too much damage around the garden, and in our experience, they are good reliable layers (and mums!) . There are a vast number of colours within the Pekin bantam group, and we have gradually been building up breeding groups of some of our favourites! We currently keep sixteen varieties - Lavender, Black, White, Columbian, Buff Columbian, Silver Partridge, Golden Partridge, Chocolate, Chocolate Cuckoo, Lemon, Buff, Blue, Black Mottled, Blue Mottled, Millefleur and Blue Millefleur! We always have our eyes open for a new exciting addition to the flock!
We have just purchased some Chocolate Cuckoo and some Buff Pekin hatching eggs for incubation - hopefully within the month we will have some new varieties to add to the gang!
We hope our Blue Millefleur, Lemon, Chocoloate Cuckoo, Cuckoo and Creole groups can expand this year. We are looking for some Creole hens to join our handsome cockerels!

We are very pleased to have successfully hatched 3 x Chocolate Laced Pekin chicks last week! This variety of Pekin are very hard to come by, and from what we have seen, should grow to be stunning chickens!
We are always on the look out for new colours of Pekins to join our flock, in particular we are keen to purchase some pure Red and some Cuckoo.
We currently have two lovely young Black Mottled cockerels looking for a new home - please get in touch if you are interested.

We have also found some of our Chocolate chicks to be Frizzle!
This weekend we had some more hatchings, see below our new lavender chicks and black chicks!
